Renato, an old man, lives alone. He loves music, dancing and sweets. Memories,
dreams and reality blend together in his daily life, which unfolds before us with
humour, sensitivity and poetry, revealing his soul full of vitality and desire for life.
 

The performance premiered in November 10, 2024 in co-production with the Municipal Theatre of Peiraeus.

Since 2006, ARTIKA has been creating performances for all ages, mainly devised,
combining many artistic languages, showing interest in both verbal and non-verbal
theatre.

It defends the right of everyone to the art of theatre, including the very young spec-
tators and citizens of today, 0 to 6 years old, as it fosters critical thinking and empa-
thy, laying the foundations for a more democratic, inclusive and sensitive to the problems of each era society.

It also creates artistic and educational workshops, participates in international
networks, programmes and festivals, international and national conferences and
audience development activities. In the recent years, Artika has played an active
role supporting and promoting theatre for children and young audiences in Greece
and in the re-establishment of the Greek centre of the international Assitej, Assitej
Greece.
