."Storytelling Through Physical Theater"

With Adriana Salles, Andreas Simma and Giorgos Pervolarakis
A few words about the workshop:
With this workshop, the artists of the Breloque theatre group want to share how they create and compose their performances, how they invent and build them through improvisation and how they use the three basic tools that it is the body, space and time.

The body
In physical theatre, the use of a clear 'body language' offers the young and very young viewer a framework (a screen) for understanding the story being told, which is universal and not related to spoken words. During the workshop, the participants, guided by the artists, will try to understand how they can express everything they feel through the body, what is sad and what is funny, in a clear and theatrically valuable way. In addition, they will try to approach the question of how we organically organise a group and how we improvise as a choir. At the same time, they will explore props, their use and when, how and if they can help the performer in telling the story.

Space
The theatre space is not just the place where the performers play, but the space that transmits the "signals" that the performer "sends" to the audience. We will try to understand: What is the impact of a story in the space we play? How does a place affect a story? How can we use the space in a way that will be fully understood by the audience?

Time
